Funmi Awelewa who is a Nigerian actress, film maker and producer, celebrates her birthday in style. She was born as Funmi Awelewa Babalola... in Osun state, Iwo local government area. Though, she was brought up in Ibadan, Oyo state. She is popularly known as 'Morili Omo Ibadan'.
She had her primary and secondary education in Oyo state and also proceeded to University of Ibadan where she bagged a degree in Information studies.
She started her acting career when she came across the popular movie actress 'Shola Kosoko' who secured her a role in one of her movies. She then continued her acting career under the mentorship of prominent actor 'Antar Laniyan'.
She has now produced movies of her own which got her limelight to be well-known as an actress. She just produced another one 'Ebudola' who is currently making waxes on YouTube.
